This was the second poll on the BBQ Forum.  I liked the idea of this poll because I was curious if what I liked to cook was the same as others.  I like to cook ribs because ribs don't take too long to cook and if I do them right, I really like the taste of them.  I also, like to cook brisket and pork but they take a lot of time. 

I like chicken but I consider chicken to be really hard to cook on a smoker.  I think I have cooked a ton of chicken and I don't think I'm very good at it.  I think my problem with chicken is, in my case, a psychological problem.  I really like the crispy skin on fried chicken and I have never cooked chicken on a smoker to the point that I liked the taste of it.  I have seen a lot of posts on the BBQ Forum over the years and I know I am not alone.  I have even seen post on the forum where people say "just throw the skin away."  I don't like doing anything that I can't do fairly well and since I can't cook chicken skin the way I like it, on a smoker, I just don't like to cook chicken.

So when I saw the results of this poll I thought that maybe there were a lot of other people out there that feel the same way as I do about chicken.
