  Why do you cook in BBQ Contests


I don't mention the name of the person who suggested these polls because I found out that while people freely suggest these polls the don't want people to know it was their idea.  I will tell you that the results of this poll were not what the person who suggested it thought the results would be, at least I am almost sure of this fact.

I was really surprised to see the results of the latest poll. 70% of the voter would rather have a Big Trophy or Money that a good experience. Now don’t get me wrong I would like both of those myself but I will go back to contests where I did not win anything but I will not go back to a contest where I had a bad experience. It sure looks to me that all the Fire and Ice teams went for a good experience (I am sorry I missed it!) not for the Money.

Am I reading this completely wrong.
